Meet the Staff

Peggy is a dental hygienist in Dr. Liethen’s office. Her dental hygiene degree was earned in 1985 from Delaware Technical College. She has been working with Dr. Liethen for 24 years. Peggy’s gentle touch keeps her patients comfortable and dedicated to her schedule. Peggy uses the most advanced techniques to treat her patient’s periodontal needs and closely monitors any changes that may be detrimental to her patients oral health. Peggy interests include cooking, baking, and visiting the East Coast. She and her husband Dan enjoy spending time with their two grown sons.

Marcie is also a dental hygienist in Dr. Liethen’s office. She graduated from USC with a degree in dental hygiene in 1983. She and Dr. Liethen have worked together for 30 years. Marcie’s earlier career in a periodontal office shaped how she treats patients with periodontal disease. Marcie utilizes all treatment modalities to efficiently eradicate periodontal problems. Marcie, her husband Steve, and their three children travel to Yosemite often to enjoy their beautiful home in the Park. Marcie other interests include beach walks, gardening, entertaining friends, and making beautiful craft works.

We are delighted to welcome Cindy to our team. Cindy was attracted to dentistry for the opportunity to truly help people create and maintain healthy, beautiful smiles. A San Diego native, Cindy graduated from Grossmont College as a Registered Dental Assistant. She brings over thirty years experience working side-by-side with patients. In her spare time Cindy enjoys going to plays, sight seeing, and spending time with family and friends.
