I am very excited to introduce myself as the proud new owner of Dr. Sue Liethen’s Dental Office.
Dr. Liethen and her team have worked hard for over thirty years to provide patients with customized, quality Dental Care.
My only hope is to continue providing the same warm and loving environment as you have become accustomed to as a patient of this wonderful practice. I am looking forward to meeting you and have provided you with a few details about myself so you can start getting to know me!
I was born in Riga, Latvia and grew up in Northern California Wine Country. As a senior in high school, I
received the Olympian Scholar Athlete Award for my accomplishments in academics as well as athletics.
Standing at 6 feet 3 inches tall, I played Division 1 Volleyball at University of The Pacific in Stockton, receiving
a full-ride scholarship while majoring in Biological Sciences. In 2019, I had the honor of being inducted into
the Sports Hall of Fame for my hometown of Livermore, California. I graduated from the University of the
Pacific Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2013. I have enjoyed treating patients of all ages throughout my career.
You can expect a gentle and efficient appointment when doing treatment with me. I will always be honest and
answer all questions you may have about treatment, as well as alternatives and options if you need them.
My husband, Kellen, and I have two energetic little boys, who keep us very busy on our time off. KJ (Kellen
Junior) loves to play Baseball, and the San Diego Padres are his favorite sports team. Noah, our youngest,
loves animals and going to the beach. You may see them around the office in the afternoons, as they take
their job as organizers of the kids’ area very seriously!
I have been and will continue working very closely with Dr. Liethen to ensure a smooth and comfortable
transition for you. I know that finding a Dentist is a very personal experience and this may come as quite a
